I know, I know. It’s basically a commercial for Marcel Wanders totally cool Mooi. But c’mon, the smoking chairs are awesome, the horse is kind of scary and the whole black and white thing is definitely very Orson Welles “Citizen Kane”.

The classic leather Eames chair with ottoman is usually a good indicator that there’s a bachelor on the loose, but the giant prison guard search light lamp, black Johnny Cash guitar and the cartoon “thought bubble” with the flatscreen TV in it cinches the deal.

Way cool wood paneled walls goes great with the eclectic art. But by far my favorite thing in the house is the dog way in the background lying on the Barcelona style lounger (kind of hoping the dog isn’t real but a ceramic sculpture).

#1 reason to have plain white walls – you can put up all sorts of well framed, colorful pictures, paintings and graphics. Also cool plastic chair designed by Ray and Charles Eames.
This art deco room is so committed it’s like a time machine back to Paris in the 1920′s.

Wood window frames, exposed brick walls – the very definition of “rustic”. I especially like the text on the window that says “wedding invitations” and “xerox” with a “z”.

Damn! This is a sweet living room. Love when everything is low to the ground. Gives it a nice laid back feeling. The chairs with leather straps on stained wood with the white cushion are TOTALLY AWESOME!

Exposed brick. Brushed aluminum lockers. Wooden vases. Beautiful furniture. Cool art. Even the flatscreen TV works (imagine how horrible it would be with an old school cathode ray TV).
